This paper presents recent extensions made to a previously presented decision support system (DSS) for logistics networks in materials trading. The system uses a simheuristic framework to compute integrated action sets from actions that could possibly be realized in a logistics network. In order to increase the usability and flexibility of the DSS, a concept for extending the system with usergenerated action types is presented in this paper. Furthermore, different implementations of the systems' heuristic unit have been tested. In this respect, the paper presents promising results and gives an outlook regarding further research.
